Jurnal Hukum Pidana Indonesia is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that publishes research articles, literature-based studies, and conceptual papers in the fields of Criminal Law and Criminology. Jurnal Hukum Pidana Indonesia aims to provide an academic forum for critical scholarship, theoretical analysis, empirical inquiry, and policy discussion contributing to criminal law reform and the strengthening of the criminal justice system.

The scope of Jurnal Hukum Pidana Indonesia includes, but is not limited to, principles and theories of criminal law; general and special criminal law; criminal law reform; criminal law policy; criminal procedure law; criminal justice system; sentencing and alternative sanctions; restorative justice; victimology; criminology; transnational crime; corruption; money laundering; narcotics; terrorism; trafficking in persons; cybercrime; economic criminal law; international criminal law; and contemporary issues in criminal law and criminology.
