Call of Papers
Volume 1, Number 1, December 2026
The Asian Journal of Criminal Law and Criminal Justice (AJCLJ) invites scholars, academics, researchers, practitioners, and postgraduate students to submit manuscripts for the inaugural issue of Volume 1, Number 1, December 2026. AJCLJ is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal focusing on criminal law and criminal justice from Asian and comparative perspectives. The journal is a collaborative effort between ASPERHUPIKI (Indonesian Association of Criminal Law and Criminology Lecturers) and PERSADA UB (Universitas Brawijaya Center for Criminal Justice Research). This call for papers is held in connection with the 3rd Annual Conference of the Asian Law Schools Association Criminal Law Chapter under the theme “Continuity and Change: Criminal Law Reform in Asia.”
AJCLJ welcomes submissions discussing criminal law, criminal procedure, criminal justice reform, comparative criminal law, constitutional criminal law, human rights and due process, cybercrime, digital evidence, environmental crime, corruption, financial crime, policing, prosecutorial reform, restorative justice, victim protection, criminology, and socio-legal studies. Selected papers may be considered for publication in AJCLJ Volume 1, Number 1, December 2026, subject to the journal’s thorough double-blind peer-review process. We warmly invite contributions from scholars and practitioners across Asia and beyond to advance critical discussion on the future of criminal law reform and criminal justice in the region.
